Trauma Processing
Trauma is all about disconnection. When we experience trauma, we often disconnect from our minds, bodies, emotions and loved ones. This is especially true when a stressful event happens and we don’t have the resource of a safe person to process it with and make sense of what happened. Often, we go into freeze states and this trauma gets stored in the body. However, our bodies have an innate wisdom to heal after challenging life experiences. In the safety of our relationship, we will work together to process and integrate traumas so that you can reconnect to your true self and thrive. I have specialized trainings in mind-body oriented therapies including Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Method, and the Trauma Resiliency Model.
